Android may warn you. This app is not on Google Play, so the phone asks once whether to allow the install. Everything after that is ordinary.

Which file? Nearly every phone made since 2016 takes the first one. If it refuses to install, take the second.

On Linux, the packages need mpv for audio and video — most distributions already have it, and the package will ask for it if not.

On Windows, run the installer — it adds a shortcut to the Start Menu and the desktop. If your machine won't let you run installers, take the zip instead: unzip it and run the exe inside, nothing else is written to the machine. Either way, the first time you run it Windows will say "unknown publisher"; click "More info," then "Run anyway." That warning is shown for any app without a purchased code-signing certificate and has nothing to do with whether the file is safe.
